How it works
Inside Trellis.
A walkthrough of how y'all actually use it. Day to day, week to week, year to year.
Section 1. The morning
Wake up clear.
First thing you see is Cy's morning message. The three things that matter today. What's on each person's plate. No more opening five different apps just to figure out a Tuesday.

Section 2. The pillars
Twelve rooms in one house.
Each pillar is a part of family life you're either building on purpose or letting drift. Tap in. Each one has its own tools, content, and Cy keeping watch. Some you'll touch every day. Some quarterly. Some twice a year. All of them matter.

Kemi hasn't had protected time with a parent in two weeks. Want to hold Thursday?
Section 3. Tasks
Nothing falls through the cracks.
Every task has an owner, a date, a pillar, a priority. The grocery list updates live between both of you. No more “wait, what'd you need?” texts. No more forgotten birthdays. No more dropped balls because somebody assumed somebody else had it.
Section 4. Family meeting
Sunday night. Thirty minutes. A whole different Monday.
Trellis pulls both calendars day by day. Cy asks two to four questions per day. You commit to five decisions. You capture the plan. You close with a prayer or a sentence. Walk into Monday clear.

Section 5. Cy
Observation. Question. Capture.
Cy's not gonna nag you. He names one thing, asks one question, and gives you a place to put the answer. He learns your family over time, so the longer he's with you, the sharper the questions get. Every single interaction follows this three-part structure. Short, actionable, useful.

Family chief of staff
Jaiye had practice three nights this week. Last week it was four. Do you want me to flag practice volume if it crosses three again?
7:04
Captured. I'll surface it on Sunday before the Family Meeting. One more. Kemi hasn't had protected time with a parent in two weeks. Want to hold Thursday?
7:04
Held. Thursday night is yours and Kemi's. I'll remind you at 5 and move the grocery run to Wednesday.

Section 6. Kid view
Built for eight-year-olds. Not bolted on.
A whole different product for kids. Morning routine with pictures. Chores that earn SoboBucks. Their calendar, their tasks, their world. Kids start asking to do chores. We were surprised too.
Section 7. Content library
Real teaching inside every pillar.
Original writing, podcasts, and frameworks from The House We Built. Stuff Kendra and I are figuring out and writing down for our own family. Your subscription opens all of it. New content every week. The stuff that helps you build, not just maintain.
Section 8. The build
Day one and year ten.
Trellis works on the Tuesday morning where you forgot Kemi has early dismissal. Trellis also works in the slow build. Values written down. Marriages checked on weekly for years. Kids who saw their parents lead a household on purpose. Money habits that compound. Traditions that become legacy.
Short term: a calmer week. Long term: the family you're trying to become.
What changes
Before Trellis. After Trellis.
Before Trellis
The grocery list lives in three different apps.
One parent knows the kid schedule. The other parent asks every day.
Date night gets canceled because nobody booked the sitter.
Finance Friday turns into Finance Sunday turns into Finance never.
Sunday ends with two people arguing about Monday.
After Trellis
The week sits in one place. Both adults see it.
Each kid is named. Their rhythms, their stuff, what they need this week.
Money has a time. The conversation happens. The number gets seen.
Cy notices what's drifting before it breaks.
Sunday holds the week. Monday walks in clear.
